Let’s do this

It's good to see Nemulon back. There's no series you can't pep up with a talking robot - as we all recall from Rocky 4. Why "Paulie's robot" doesn't appear in Rocky Balboa or the Creed series of movies, I have no idea.

  1. “Fledgling Actress and Cake Engineer” sounds like a perfect cover for Shelley. Though is cake engineering the same as cake baking or is it more along the lines of designing schematics for a more durable thermodynamic, humidity-resistant Eco-friendly longer-lasting cake?

    1. Don’t forget her groundbreaking work in the field of engineering fledgling film actresses!

  2. Far be it from me to question “teh timelinezz”, but does this mean Sir Paul will be penning the line “She was just seventeen / if you know what I mean” about Shelley? Scandalous! Perhaps Nemulon can make an innovative cake to celebrate the occasion.

    1. She was just twenty nine /
      I’m pretty sure that’s fine /
And the way she looked /
Was from 40 years later /
So how could I dance with another /
      OOOOOOOOH /
When I saw her standing there

  3. Surely Shelley’s first mission is to get the real Jane Asher out of the way so she can take her place? What if they meet?

    1. My spoiler-free response to this is that Paul wouldn’t have met Jane Asher if the band had only had one, small hit, so Shelley will simply fill a gap that wacky thumbs-aloft did not know existed.

  4. I suppose that the real Jane Asher wouldn’t mind too much be played by a hottie like Shelley!

    1. I seem to recall Mr A has commented on the resemblance before, too!

    2. Shelley has green eyes, though — Jane’s are blue.

  5. Karl Ruben Weseth

The two(ish)-tone night-time colouring is splendid as heck.

  6. It’s a hard work, but someone has to do it.

    1. It’s a Hard Day’s Night…

  7. Let’s just hope Shelley’s influence on the band doesn’t go into the Yoko Ono direction instead…

    1. I think Paul McCartney has said several times that Yoko didn’t break up the Beatles, John was just ready to go. Unfairly, she’s become a bit of a trope.

    2. Pretty much Robert Epstein’s death set the path for the Beatles eventually breaking up.

  8. Heavy many layered cakes need sophisticated engineering to avoid crushing themselves. Then: Hollywood Handshake ™!

  9. I just realized that it’s Nemulon who appears at the end of Hard Yards, when Shelley is agreeing to represent Scout Jones.

Any chance of a Scout Jones cameo or appearance in Destroy History?

  10. They send Shelley on all of the… kissy jobs, don’t they.
