Ladies and germs

I think Cilla Black may be a dangerous presence in the Beatles' world. Either that or just a pro-level rabble-rouser.

  1. Didn’t someone say earlier in this story that it was almost as if someone had sabotaged the Beatles?

Well, take out the “almost as if.”

  2. Cilla is really able with people. But why help Freddie and sabotage The Beatles? This story is more and more interesting.

    1. Historically, I believe, she was more or less discovered by the Beatles. Or at least coat-tailed them a bit. Somebody has definitely been playing silly blighters with the timestream.

  3. What child is this?
    Know what I mean?
    I saw her there
    Just seventeen…

  4. A) Maybe one of the resident experts could ID the instrument Paul is playing.

    B) The previous strip held numerous hints that Cilla was the anti-Shelley, down to the evil handbag, contrasted with Nemulon.

    1. That’s the Höfner 500/1 bass, the instrument he’s famous for, also called the violin bass or the Beatles bass.

Seems to be his second one, the first one had both pickups in the neck position.

  5. If Shelley does her in, perhaps in this version of history she will be reborn as Cilla the White?

    1. She already was born as Cilla (White)!

      1. Pssst, I think that was the joke.

  6. Bad song choice, guys. Perhaps you should play the theme from “Rawhide” to calm them down. Or possibly “My Old Man’s a Dustman.”

  7. A little George Formby should settle them right down.

    1. John could win the crowd over with an electrifying ukulele solo!

  8. Sheeple much?
This lady really knows how to use herd poisoning…

  9. So what’s Cillia’s/whoever is wearing the skin as a costume deal? Forced to listen to Beetles while growing up to the point she is trying to prevent them from existing?
